Excitement is building for Sun City West’s Fall Arts and Crafts Fair to be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd. This is the 40th year these fairs have been held.
This popular event runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features the work of many artisans from more than 20 clubs offering pottery, jewelry, clothing, artwork and so much more at exceptional prices. This event is ideal for collecting decorative items for your home or finding that special gift for the upcoming holidays.
The fair attracts collectors of popular local artists. Many collectors come specifically for the color scheme or style of an artist and to see what is new. A good number of the items featured at the fair are sold year-round in the Village Store as well as at the fair, but some specialty items, such as pieces of metal art and woodworking pieces, are sold only at the fair because of size constraints. Visitors will be impressed at the sheer variety and number of items available.
Admission to the fair is free and open to the public. There is plentiful free parking in both the front and back parking areas of the center’s campus. Accepted forms of payment at the fair are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and checks. The Village Store has a point-of-sale barcoded system that requires sales tax to be added to purchases. All other vendors participating in the fair include sales tax in their prices. Purchase receipts are available upon request.
Concessions will be available for purchase. Memo’s Bistro will provide breakfast burritos, hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches.
Vendor space is available only to Sun City West Chartered Club members. For more information about the Fall Arts and Crafts Fair, contact Village Store Supervisor Katie Van Leuven at 623-544-6135 or email@example.com.
