Is your yoga or exercise routine getting a little stale? If you’re looking for a new challenge, yoga on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) will reinvigorate you while you experience the splendor of floating on water. Mix up your routine with a new exercise, yoga on the water. This is a beginner friendly SUP yoga class that introduces the fundamentals with an emphasis on proper alignment and breathing techniques. The basics allow you to start where you are, making yoga accessible for any body type or ability level. No experience necessary. Adding paddleboard yoga to your routine will be fun, relaxing and exhilarating.
Instructor Jennifer Marks grew up on the sunny beaches of San Diego, CA. Water has always been her favorite thing to be near. In 2011, she became certified as an RYT-500 through Yoga Pura Advanced Studies and Teacher Training and has never looked back. Embracing the Yoga philosophy has resulted in a transformation she had never imagined. After finding Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) yoga, she decided to venture through more training and received her SUP Yoga teacher certification. Now adding the combination of water and yoga, her plan is to teach and reach out to as many as she can to share the gifts that this wonderful process has shown her as well as showing just how fun SUP can be! You’ll find her classes to be challenging yet uplifting.
