Pow! Zap! Blam! These are noises you will not hear in this exciting cooking class. Oohs and Aahs are more likely. You will learn about todays must have appliance, the redesigned Pressure Cooker. Observe how the newest generation of cookers works more effectively, why you need not fear using a pressure cooker, and how it will become your favorite partner in the kitchen. You do not have to have a pressure cooker to take this class, what you do need is a love of good, healthy food and a fast way of preparing it. In three lessons, you will learn to make some yummy dishes in a fraction of the normal time. You will get more recipes to try at home and learn how to convert all your favorite meals. Bring your appetite and containers for the leftovers (as if there will be any!). Some sample dishes include Risotto, Cheesecake, Chili and others.
Instructor Eva Weisberg has a love of cooking. She taught for 22 years in an adult community center in Fredericksburg, VA where she lived. While living in New York City she took some professional cooking classes and her enjoyment of cooking has stayed constant through the years.
