Instructor Shaliyah Ben is a Navajo museum educator and advocate for Diné culture and tradition. She was born on the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, New Mexico and was raised in Phoenix, Arizona where she received her education. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and works at the Education Programs and Outreach Manager at the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
