Donna Maloney said she wants to run to for the Board because she believes Sun City West is at a crossroads.
“The decisions we make in the near future will greatly affect our viability as a premier retirement community,” she said. “I want to be part of this process with an eye to fiscal prudence and an ear to the community’s desires.”
Maloney’s experience during retirement includes serving as Sun City West Pickleball Club president from 2016 to 2018, and vice president from 2013 to 2015. She was the club’s Fun in the Sun Pickleball Tournament Director from 2016 to 2018. She graduated from the TORCH Academy in 2010.
Prior to retiring, Maloney worked as office manager for the Naperville Rehab Clinic from 1984 to 2009, and for the Chiro-Center from 2003 to 2008. She was an officer manager for attorney William J. Page from 1977 to 1983, and was secretary for the regional director for the Illinois Department of Public Health from 1970 to 1974.
“Why vote for me for the Governing Board?” states Maloney. “I care about Sun City West. I want to hear what you have to say. I will work hard for Sun City West. Together, let’s keep Sun City West on top. There’s no place like Sun City West!”
