The Friends of the R H Johnson Library’s summer book sale 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 promises to be a great way to get out of the heat and pick up some wonderful bargains. The Social Hall (19803 R. H. Johnson Blvd., next to Fry’s Food) will be filled with gently used fiction both recent and favorite titles, nonfiction, arts and crafts, biographies, history, children, how-to, coffee table and cookbooks. In addition, there will be lots of puzzles and games, DVDs, music CDs and books on cassette and CD. The tables will be replenished throughout the sale so no one will miss the bargain they are looking for. All proceeds of the sale go directly toward purchasing new items for the library.
Donations can be dropped off at the R H Johnson Library (13801 W. Meeker Blvd.) 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. Please do not leave books outside the Library or in the library return boxes.
